Re: Early Ford juice brake question.

Re: Model B Ford 4 cylinder identification
I always found B transmissions are hard to find. you could get one of Klings adaptors to hook a v8 transmission to an A or B motor and then use any v8 trans you find. Much more common I believe.

Re: 33 turn signals
I use the cowl lights for signal and light in my 34. I googled up "light socket" and found some places that make anything you can imagine. I picked out two that just needed some tweeking to mount...

Re: Model B Ford 4 cylinder identification

The last 2 years of T production they put a Vin number on the right rail about in the center of the door jamb. They also...

Re: Model B Ford 4 cylinder identification
Thats my photo above, they are both B cranks, just one early and one late. Sometimes you can see thru the fuel pump hole or the oil fill hole with a flashlight to see if it has the counter balanced...

Re: Solenoid clicking. Won't start
Starters are not too complex, and original fords are quite good. Take yours apart, if it only needs bushings and brushes its not a big deal to do yourself. If not, surly there must be a rebuilder or...

Re: Brake drum question
I will guess that the studs hold the drum on the hub as originally done with the drum behind style. I have one car with the early 40 style drum over the hub that I can run the drum loose as like a...
