I had one in a pile that was sold on the auction, scrap man got the bid. Next day I saw it smashed in the driveway, musta fell out when the were loading the pallet...no one cared.
Still have one...

A couple old junk yards I knew of years ago stored some of the old engines up side down to preserve them in outside storage. this makes the oil pan into a roof, and hopefully saves the motor. Good...

Are you talking about the grease catch cans? Early are round, after about 37? they are square. And, your backing plates appear to be 39-41, or at least 39 and up as they are hydraulic. Got nuts...

I believe they way John sets them up with the spacer they end up same as stock 32-34 width. It would have to be as otherwise it would require a special length axle. I did the columbia in my 34 to...

I always found B transmissions are hard to find. you could get one of Klings adaptors to hook a v8 transmission to an A or B motor and then use any v8 trans you find. Much more common I believe.

Thats my photo above, they are both B cranks, just one early and one late. Sometimes you can see thru the fuel pump hole or the oil fill hole with a flashlight to see if it has the counter balanced...
