Thanks to both, did drain oil but problem solved, broken fender brace at little faster speed body would lean & scrape tire.

While back there was a conversation on a hot start , one was with diode, one using solenoid. Would anyone still have diagram of each. Thanks

I doubt it I believe the 41 has a curve at top rear , the 42-48 are rectangular.

I have a toggle under dash, use the electric just for priming , 6 volt 48 stock & has been 9 years . So far so good.

It looks like the top piece of the inside windshield moldings for a 42-46 ford convertible.it finishes where the 2 pieces meet. On the bottom there is a shorter piece with same purpose plus it also...

I always drill a small hole in one end before putting it in makes it easy to put a small screw driver in & pull it out.

When I take the fan off my 48 I put a piece of cardboard to protect the radiator , remove one of the top radiator hoses & it comes out with out doing any damage.
