Re: 1939 pickup bracket help
I just noticed your original post title included "pickup" so forget about any of my prior post information regarding the 134" Panel Truck. Hope someone with the part can help you out.

Re: 1939 pickup bracket help
Attached is an image from page 350 of the Green Book. It features a 1939 Truck front end, not the 112" Commercial version. Is the part you are seeking? I don't know what the difference is between...

Re: 77-6050A Truck Cylinder Heads
Tim - I only sure way I know is for the part number to be in raised letters on the head.
In later Ford parts books (1944, 1945 for example), only the 77-6050-A cast iron head is listed, so it...

Re: 34 Pickup
Just FYI, most Ford vehicles in this era were equipped from the factory with foam rubber dust seals for the gear shift lever and emergency brake lever as well as around the steering column tube and...

Re: 36' Headlight Reflector Size
Here's an illustration from my book. It's for a 1935-1936 pickup and truck, so the headlight bucket and lens aren't the same, but it's basically the same arrangement of parts. I figured that...

Re: 1935 Ford Pickup weatherstrip
Your 1935 pickup originally came with a windlace strip on each door which went from the bottom front door corner all the way up over and down to the bottom rear door corner of the inside edge of the...

Re: Anyone have one they can measure?
I believe it also has a taper on the end that goes into the aluminum casting.
The longer length is for earlier valve covers which have the fuel pump stand boss cast about 1' taller than later...

Re: Ford intake with S
I heard of a guy that put the letter S on his hotrod car. The neighbors were overheard exclaiming as he zoomed past where they were standing: "Look at that S-car-go!"
Sorry, dad humor just...

The answer is no if you are talking the windshield header which has the two rectangular cutouts for access to the wipers and windshield hinges, at least for domestically built cabs. It's welded in...

Re: Body dipping and Ecoating
I had the cab, doors and fenders of my 1935 truck stripped in a shop near Raleigh, NC. The process started with heating the parts to 800 F which burned off all the paint, body filler and lead with...

Re: Stake bed gate hinges
The Model AA truck parts didn't change through the Early Ford V8 era. To help in looking for parts, the part numbers for the hinges are AA-186304-B and AA-186405-B. You need a total of 8 of each...

Re: '41 PU Rear Window
No problem. I was just curious. On my sliding rear window the glass pains both slide inward, not outward. All that was needed was a clear opening, the same size and shape as the one-piece unit.

Re: '41 PU Rear Window
Is someone willing to show a few pictures of the metal that would need to be cut or trimmed? I'm only familiar with the 1935-39 rear window opening and it would be interesting to see the difference.

Re: 1947 1.5-Ton Front Leaf Spring
Many people buy a 1-1/2 ton truck and take the cab off for a project or for their pickup. The result is there are a lot of 1-1/2 ton truck frames languishing in back lots. If you look around, you...

Re: '41 PU Rear Window
I don't have the specifics for the 1941 back glass bugs but I can tell you that for 1935-1936 trucks, the Ford oval was 1" wide and 0.56" tall. The oval on the doors and windshield glass is 0.69" c...

Re: Puttin a key in the drivers door
I think the door latch mechanism needs some modification or the addition of a few parts so that when the shaft of your new door lock spins, it will flip the locking latch into position. Since the...

Tom - I agree with all the points Stu mentioned. Be patient and keep looking. The wheels you need are out there somewhere and you will find them but it will likely take time.
