Re: Crank
Didn't someone make a 180 degree crank for our flatheads? Seems like I remember seeing one in a catalog once, maybe Flathead Jack?

Re: Brake Drum Paint
I have done it two different ways. On one car I had them powder coated and they have held up quite well. No problem. On another car, on which I was being frugal, I just used black BBQ grille paint...

Re: 255 Merucry Dyno Pull
I imagine that moves that '46 coupe along quite well! Enjoyed the video Randall. Thanks for sharing.

Re: Troubleshooting Transmission '47 pickup
GB,
There is, or should be, a tag on the transmission with a series of numbers. These numbers will give you the gear ratios of that gearbox. The numbers should be 1352-XXXX. It will make difference...

Re: Need cluster gear idntification
Where the LZ gears "shine" is if they are put into a lightweight hot rod that does not have to carry around the extra weight of a Lincoln. But alas the cost has gone into the stratosphere and the...

Re: Troubleshooting Transmission '47 pickup
GB,
It's funny you shouild bring up 435's. I was just reading an article about rebuilding them in an old issue of "FOUR WHEELER" the other day. It seems the ratios in a Ford 435 are 6.68:1 in first,...

I was out in my shop doing some rewiring on my old Model A. I happened to stick my head out the door and discovered it was a beautiful, warm (62 degrees) day for February. I asked myself why was I...

Re: The All 32 Run
Tom,
I am happy to see that you and Pete are taking this obligation over as I would hate to see it "pass on". Am I clear in understanding that it will be an invitation only event?
Thanks,
Ted

Re: 40 Tudor glass and rubber
It's all flat safety glass. I go to a local glass shop and have them cut it for me. Very reasonable and if you have a problem you have someone there local to handle it.
