JW Lawson did a lot of dino work on flathead cams his results are in his book,simple answer is yes stock cam is better for low and mid range torque.

Go to NAPA Store they still have books, find the oldest old man there, he will know how to use them. A lot of old car suppliers get thier parts from NAPA and mark them up a lot.

Frames are the same, except bolt holes for mounting bodies and front fenders are different

Has anyone used ospho in engine block water passages

Building flathead ford for 1934 ford and was wondering if ospho would prevent corrosion in water chambers in block.
