Re: What weight oil should I use - Brand?
Lots of opinions and suggestions but you won’t go wrong either with 15-40 Rotella or any brand 20-50. Chalk up your 10-30 experience as a quick oil change to clean out the engine. Good luck and...

Re: Where are you?
Old Redneck, that's a great picture. It’d be fun to see it in black & white, old timey look, for sure. Cold, snow coming again here in NH.

Re: Thinking of getting a Model T
Very nice car! To get used to the 'clutch' pedal when stopping, try pulling the brake handle half way back before you stop. This puts the pedal down far enough to get 'neutral' and the you can...

Re: Early A
I remember seeing this car at a Lang's open house and BBQ about 15 years ago after Charlie sold it to Steve. It's quite a car and representative of an early car that was taken care of over the years.

Re: 47 sedan windshield install
This is from Mac Van Pelt's website. I followed it installing new glass on my 40 sedan. It states it’s for 40-46. Be careful how you pull the rope/string out. Do it slowly and be careful not to...

TJ, Kube, Tim and CAVictoria: thanks for the advice on the pumps and hoses. I'll contact Skip and see how busy he is these days. Probably very. Thanks again.

Water pump - repair or replace
I've been working on the 1937 pickup for a while. While underneath the truck, I noticed coolant seeping from the shaft of the left water pump. I have several options: buy a rebuild kit with a new...

Re: 35-37 pickup mirrors
I recall that I used a rear view mirror from Joe's Antique Auto and installed it above the windshield. There were dimples in the correct places for holes for the screws so a mirror must have been an...

Re: What is that noise??
My 37 pickup had an unsettling clunk in the drivetrain when going from forward to backing up or the other way around. I pulled the rear end out, disassembled the torque tube and found a lot of play...
