Late 2010 there was a post on this subject with some additional information.
Sure would be nice to hear a restored Chris Craft on the St. Lawrence, with that Model A music from the exhaust.!!

To me, this was one of the more frustrating restoration projects for the door area itself. The metal clip seemed a lighter gauge material that bent very easily, and for me would not retain a shape....

Chad, I think you are picturing the passenger side pan (no cut-out for steering/light fitment), mine is approx.. 171/2".
Driver side with cut-out area is approx. 15".
