Re: Repro BUMPERS--- latest GONE
Manufacturers of aftermarket repro parts seem to be "cutting back" as we age, recognizing that the market for aftermarket parts gradually fades away.

Re: Repro BUMPERS--- latest GONE
When I was a kid in the 50s all of the "old guys" wanted a Model T. Not many of those guys around anymore! Faded away I guess.

They've just moved on to newer cars. Parts for (ugh) certain '80s cars are increasing. There is still lots available for the '60s cars and trucks, and '70s trucks. It goes with generations being interested in cars they had/wanted when they were young, and now that they're older, can afford to fix them up. The same goes with pretty much all antiques and old stuff. |

Re: Repro BUMPERS--- latest GONE
I see the same thing happening quickly with anything OEM, NOS as well on my 52 F1 truck. A lot of the repro parts are drying up. You can't even take the junk for granted anymore! Im glad I did my restoration, just a 3 years ago. It's a lot different now.
