BB truck question
I got great advice on how to remove the rear brake drum on my 34BB. I’ve discovered a broken snap ring. Does anyone know where I might locate parts? It’s a full floating axle and the snap ring is 3.24 inches in diameter. Also does anyone the purpose of it? Thanks

Re: 34 BB truck question
Just a quick look at McMaster Carr shows a 3-1/4 od snap ring, not sure which you have (internal/external) or other but it "could" be a source for you.

Re: BB truck question
If it's for the grease seal the part number is BB-1180-C.

Re: BB truck question
Thanks, there was no seal on this side. Now the snap ring makes sense.

Re: BB truck question
We have a few '34 full floating rear ends at my parents' house. I may be able to steal one from one of those if you can't find one.
