2024 EFV-8 Central National Meet Auburn Indiana

The Early Ford V-8 Club of America is holding their 2024 Central National Meet at Auburn, Indiana this June. Always great to visit Auburn with its numerous excellent museums. Here are some photos of the 2011 Central National Meet at Auburn, my first club event.

Not bringing an old Ford, but I am registered for the meet. Always a great and fun place to visit and see V-8 friends that I don't normally see from other parts of the US. Also anxious to see the new additions to the museum.

Tony, I was there in 2011 as well. Also my first meet. I didn't know anyone. The show field was great with lots of cars.

I think these are the meets in order that I've attended:

The Chantilly meet had some great touring.

That Coupe belongs to Doug Weinel from Colorado. Obviously drew more attention than my '36 Roadster parked next to it.

Ken's 1936 Roadster is beautiful. He was nice enough to let me and Grant Fleming use it on the Route 66 Tour during the 2014 Springfield Central National Meet when we were unable to get our cars to the meet. Thanks Ken.

Don't forget the "First" one, 2009. The "First" incarnation of the Early Ford V8 museum PLUS a few of the cars that showed for the show and flea market!!!! I plan on attending IF I do not change careers. I will know in a couple of few weeks.

I made a side trip to the museum last year on my way up to the Grand National this past June, a lot has changed and even more has grown in Auburn at the exit area where the hotels are as well as lots of growth to the EFV8 museum. I was amazed at the growth!!! Well worth the trip for the show this June IMO.

2019 Early Ford V-8 Club of America Central National Meet at Auburn, Indiana. It rained and many cars were brought into the Kruse building. I hope it don't rain this time. Lots of great cars.

Looking forward to the Auburn show this June. Yep the plan is to drag the ragged ol truck along too. The plan is to travel with John and Cathy hauling their prized 42 Ford. It will be the first time for the 42 to be at one of the Early V8 meets. Make sure you get a chance to visit with John about his Fords. He is a walking Ford numbers guy!

Yes! I saw Frank's '49 Conv. at the Foundation Museum a couple of weeks ago. Will certainly miss visiting with Frank though!

I was not able to attend the last two National Meet do to my health. But I am planing to make this one. I still got to get the trailer ready repacking the Wheel Bearings and a new Battery for the wench. The 32 will be there also. My eyesight could be better. I hate night driving at night anymore. The older I get the slower I get. I don't expect much anymore. I do look forward in going to the National Meet this time.Might be my last one?

Tony,

Who is Bryan Markell? There are no "vendors" per se at the meet. Some members have swap spaces, but not a lot. I have that number.

I will be attending the CNM, arriving on late Tuesday. The museum has arranged to have some copies of my truck book available for purchase and I'm happy to sign them.
