Back on the road
After 3 years of sitting on jack stands, I got my new optima battery installed with 2.0 wires. Spins like a top now. I drove it around town for about 30 minuets. Actually I pulled it out of the garage and some guy drove in and we talked cars for 30 minuets. He had a Model A Sedan in the 60's. I drove it to the gas station and another guy filling up said he could remember riding in a rumble seat when he was a kid. He was pretty old. Several people waved and I would honk.
Anyway I had a great time today and wasn't afraid that it wouldn't start. I even stopped in at the Sonic for a vanilla icecream. No problems. Wow I had a fun afternoon. Now for the timing to get it correct. With RonC's helpful instructions it should be a snap. Then on to something else. |

Re: Back on the road
Good for you, people could see the smile on your face thru the windshield, such a good feeling driving or working on your A. Wishing you many trouble free miles....
