Shock Absorber Identification
I am restoring a 1931 Model A that has shocks on it that look like the ones on eBay #180844182817. What is the correct year for these shocks. Thanks, Ed

Re: Shock Absorber Identification
The shocks in the ebay auction you referenced are not original to a Model A.

Re: Shock Absorber Identification
later production to fit ---ford replacement made in later 30s, 40s, they would be "correct" but not original for your car

Re: Shock Absorber Identification
Steve Schmauc in Spokane, WA has done an excelent booklet on ID'ing most, if not all, of the different types of shocks that were used on the Model A/AA Ford during its production.
EXCELENT BOOK! Pluck |
