Default Torque Tube differences

I've got two torque tubes. One is tapered the whole length while the other is the same diameter for nearly the whole length. Does anyone know the years of application of each?
Thanks

Cal

Both were used throughout production. They were simply alternate manufacturing designs. The long tapered type had a welded seam running lengthwise on the tube section. The other type was the "seamless" design. There were three slight dimensional variations in the seamless design but they were unchanged 1929 through 1931.
