Default 6 volt battery bars

This is my first thread in over two years. It's good to be back.

When I just got back from being away in Hong Kong for 18 months, Old Henry's battery was dead beyond recharging so I went and got another from NAPA like I always have. Unfortunately, one of the lead 6 volt replica battery bars had left the battery and the outfit I bought them from so many years ago was also gone. So, I read up on sand casting and got some wheel balancing lead from the tire store and planned to cast me some new ones. Then I remembered that one of my genius sons had a 3D printer. I sent him a picture of the old lead bar and asked him if he could make me a couple like it and, Shazam! he whipped 'em right out in no time. If anyone else would like some, I think I could send you his file to make them on your 3D printer. (I hope two pictures are attached but not sure I remember how to do that. If not, I'll try again.)

Welcome back Old Henry, the parts look great. I may have to look into this 3D printing thing more, it's the second time I heard of it today.

G day Old Henry. Nice to see you are back again. Your battery cable clamps and hold down frame could do with a bit of a tickle up. Potential problems lurking there. Regards, Kevin.

Henry, how nice to see you back, what we need now is some trip stories, I’m away in the 33 but my posts are nowhere near as entertaining as yours, and yes could you send me the files as my son has a 3D printer, thanks Lawrie
And once again nice to have you back.

I will be replacing all of that before the first car show in May so Old Henry can look his best.

Thanks.

Several have asked for the 3D printer file to print these 6 volt battery link bars. Here's the drop box link to it: https://www.dropbox.com/s/wkdzoyv8eo...ector.stl?dl=0

Let me know whether or not it works (it's my first try).

Thanks.

Gentlemen, Thank you for you inquiries regarding more road trips. I appreciate them.

I'm afraid 18 months in Hong Kong was not very kind to my abdominal circumference. IOW, my stomach now drags on the steering wheel. I've go to fix that before any more long road trips. I'm starting to work on that right away. I'm as anxious as you all are to be "one the road again."

Welcome back. I do miss your road trips. Being from the east coast, exploring the west and south west is on my bucket list after reading your posts although it probably won’t be in a flathead.
