Default Cowl Panel (interior) Clip

Doc Kalinka once wrote about a clip that holds the cowl cardboard panel to the cowl .. which cowl/fuel tank bolt was this added to?

It is attached to the front bolt on either side with the "slot" pointing down. The cowl panel will slide into the clip when installed. It make take a bit of "adjustment" to position the clip correctly since the reproduction cowl panel may not be exactly the correct size. Gar Williams

Charles..
My clips don't look like that, draw an S on apiece(starting at the top of the S) paper and when you get to the bottom pull straight down. That's the side view of my clips. The card board fits in the top part of the S,I think. I think Tom Wesenberg or Steve S??? posted a pic. Hope this helps, Dudley
PS...2 clips one left an one right, at the most forward bolts that hold the tank to the cowl.

This is a picture of the clip on my 29 truck before it was disassembled.

this is essentially the same as mine except mine do not have the circle tab which i think held a rubber grommet and an electrical wire for the wiper. mine has a hand wiper. thanks for taking the trouble to include pix .. really helps!!
