Default 1935 oil pressure gauge connections

Connecting the oil pressure gauge 6 volt lead from switch to the top terminal and sending unit lead to the bottom or-???

The sender uses the engine block polarity (+ ground) so there is no need for a wire. The wire on the top of the sender goes to the pressure gauge. The gauge has two electrical terminals one for the wire to the top of the sender and the second for battery (-). The 35 Ford oil pressure gauge gets it's battery (-) from the ignition resistor connections. One of the two connections for the resistor is battery (-) from the ignition switch.
