Default '39 Brake / Clutch Shaft Large Bushing?

Guys, apparently the large bushing for the '39 Brake/clutch shaft is a tough puppy to track down. My question is, does anyone know of an alternative such as finding the same bushing ID & OD, but longer?

Thanks - just called. He's out of them.
Kinda makes me want to get into the bushing business!

Hi, I called Stacy in TX and they don't have them either but did call me back after checking some other sources. They were truly nice to deal with but so far - no bushing.

Found my bushing from Terry at Little Dearborn in Minneapolis. Nice guy, I got the last one. Thanks to all who helped me find it.

If you measure the bore of the pedal and the diameter of the shaft, you might find a local bearing supplier can supply them.
I did this and after phoning a place that specialises in bushes, they sent me a couple FOC as a sample.
In my case it was not for 39 pedals, but it might be worth it, you never know.

Mart.
