Default 1936 Ford P\U spare tire mount

I didn't like the wide 5 wheels, so I sold them years ago, picked up a complete set of back plates, drums, brakes, everything from a 40' now I have juice brakes & beautiful red powder coated 35' wires on my truck. Now years later I just found out the spare wheel doesn't fit the spare tire mount on the running board, it can't be un-bolted and removed cause I welded it down while fixing the cracks. has anybody ever adapted the tire mount for a wide 5 wheel to fit a 35' wire wheel?

The '35 wire wheel is 5 on 5, right? Not sure if Speedway offers a wide 5 adapter that bolts on a 5 on 5 hub. I have one that bolts on a wide 5 wheel and fits a late Ford pattern. With that I will still use my wide 5 spare carrier to hold the wheel and tire while keeping the adapter in the trunk in case I need the spare.
