Default Looking for Tips and Tricks in Installing 40 Running Boards and Welting

Dear Fordbarn'rs

I decided to go ahead with a set of the 40 Drake running boards. I also purchased the welting and mounting bolts they offer.
What I would like to know is if there are any tips to mounting the welting? It seems to be pretty generic and not all of the provisions line up with the bolt holes on the running boards. I assume the bead line mounts on the top side of the board between the board and the frame. Does one install the board loosely and then fish the welting into position or ?
How are the bolts positioned? The round heads going into the frame holes?
So looking under the running boards one would see the bolt heads not the nuts?
As to the fenders when looking into the wheel well should you see the round bolt head or the nut?
Any direction here would be most appreciated.
Thank you for all of your guidance in the task.

The carriage bolts go through the frame and subsequently through the boards. Note the square holes in the frame. That's where the shoulder of the carriage bolt sets - not allowing it to spin.
The very rear most fastener on each board is a hex head bolt. It goes through the board and subsequently in to a caged nut on the inside of the frame.

The fasteners at the fenders go though the fenders and subsequently through the boards.

I glue the welt to the frame lightly in a number of spots. That allows me to be certain all of the holes are aligned with the slots in the welt.
