Generator modification
I notice that many Model A Generators have been modified during being rebuilt. The stud in the case that attaches to the cut out relay is replaced by two wires. One for the cut out and the other to ground. Is there a reason this is done?

Re: Generator modification
That is post Model A production, and through the years many people have mixed and matched parts from various years.
