Default Charlotte Auto Fair

Anyone setting up at Charlotte? Would appreciate any spot locations that I could concentrate on. Charlotte is so big that the knees don't work very well after so many dead end searches. Thanks guys!

I will not be there this year! Not worth my time to haul my stuff, set up and not see many people who are interested in EFV8. Also why walk the entire field and not find much to buy.

I lucked out. My wife wanted me to accompany her to a seminar in Winston Salem. She will be in class all day Saturday so I am headed to Charlotte.

I plan to be there Thursday through Sunday morning, maybe Wednesday afternoon if I can get away early. It's a 9 1/2 hour drive for me. I'll be with my buddy in the Orange Field XXO-20,21. Look for his big motor home against the track fence by the tunnel.

KB is one of the two large groupings of vendor spaces inside the speedway. They are the Orange Field and the Blue Field. V8FordMan shares spaces with several other flathead guys at the end of KB right on the main roadway. There are two more large vendor fileds outside the track, the Green and Red Fields. The Green Field is the older of the two outside areas. A lot of the vendors inside the speedway have been going there for many years as have quite a few outside. There are quite a few new and one or two time vendors in the Green and Red fields...people cleaning out stuff on a one time basis.

Yeah, I always find a lot more reasonable deals in the green and red fields. Usually local people not trying to make a living selling parts.
