The project got put aside while repairing other cars. Well problem found… it was not the transmission at all … the oil pressure gauge directly above had a very slight leak !!!! Dummy, ignoring the obvious. It made no sense as to why the shift tower would leak as nothing had been changed. Brian above called by ,sitting in the seat with motor running I could not see the drip, but Brian outside looking in said there it is!!! The copper line nut was 99.5% tight ,strange … We both had a good laugh ..

It wasn't that obvious; it really did look like it was bubbling up outta the trans top. It was just a fluke that I saw a drip coming from above....
