Paul Howes Junior Member Join Date: Aug 2011 Location: florida Posts: 16	Late 31 steel top pickup Between the top and the two steel support ribs is what looks like a rope about 1/2" in dia. It looks original but is hard and want to replace it. calling different suppliers, no one knows what it is. Any ideas? Paul
