Guys took this one apart this morning , came apart nice ( too nice) . Was way over lubed ( greased) ya cant fill the rear with grease and expect the advance weights to come out with rpm.....
Light lube only !!!

I took a '48 rear end apart. I think they pumped grease into the fitting on the torque tube expecting it to come out of the air filter.

The other side of the story ( reassembly after clean up). Dont know where i found this Ultra spray lube but have had the occasion to see a distributor up close after a couple years of hard driving and the inside still looks very nice with no rust etc....
