The Ford Barn

I don't know how much longer you can call this the 40 Ford Day show.
Since they started letting other makes and pre '72 cars in the size of the show has grown immensely. More cars of all types than ever before. But what really got to me this year was that instead of separating the 40 Ford's et al from the others, they were just parked like a regular generic show. Ford, Dodge, Chevy newer and older, all in the same row.

Attendance was at an all time high. The weather probably had a lot to do with that, it was semi-overcast most of the day, with the temperature in the mid 70's.

Some really nice cars that I've never seen at any other shows stood out over the ones that just get driven from their garage and parked without even so much as a dusting.

The member created trophy's were outstanding as usual. And the club's volunteers did a terrific job in organizing a show of this size.

But I did see something unique, a Ford engine in a Ford body, now that is something you don't see everyday at this show.

Thanks for the heads up... I definitely don't plan on attending a show that claims to be a FORD show but lets in any & everybody! ALSO... your link is B/O (bad order)

Don't get me wrong, it is still a worthwhile show.
If my cars was older, I would probably take both my '78s.

Cool! At least 85% of those beautiful old Fords have already been converted to chevrolet power. The automotive equivalent of rape. Henry must be rolling in his grave b

That's why the shows I go to are V8 Club Meets. What a shame you can't find a show featuring cars as manufactured. History lost.
