Default Front Bumper Arms

Any significance to the letter “C” stamped boldly into the front bumper arms? Note that one arm is stamped on the outermost radius of the curve; the other arm stamped on the innermost radius (possibly stamped prior to being bent to shape).

Bolts/nuts: black, raven, cad?

my bumper bars are still wrapped from the platers so will have to wait for info as to any markings on reverse of them.

I think all my bumpers and arms also have the C stamped in several places.

Charles, you might want to unwrap the bumpers and oil them to hold off corrosion. I'm not sure how they are wrapped, but some wrappings might even promote corrosion.

With about a 5 month spread between our cars, and from the same plant,
I have "C" on my front bumper brackets also.
