Smile Spark plugs - 1925 T Coupe

Just purchased a set of four plugs for my '25 T. They turned out to be 14mm threaded. My plug holes in the head are much larger than that. Are adapters
The right thing to do?
Thanks

Racemo,

I would rethink the 14mm plugs and spend a bit more and buy some Champion X's for Lizzie. They run really good. And they are the correct 1/2" pipe thread.

They are the plug of the period and run good.

Have them in the '27 and she likes them.

I have tried several different modern 14mm plugs with an adaptor in my jalopy, even the Champion 25's and she run undoubdedly the best with the original Champion X's.
They are expensive but if You buy quality, You only cry once. :-)

Use Champion Xs and forget the 14mm plugs. You can get Champion Xs at O'Reilleys new for 19.69 each. They are part number 425. Don't use the 525 as they are the non take apart models. You will never buy a plug again after the Xs as they last a lifetime.
