Yeah that video isn't very good. The noise is pretty load when your right here beside it. I can feel a little guide wear by moving the valve but not real bad. Going to clean it all up as good as i can and put a new spring in and see what happens. It was sitting for 40+ years so I'm not surprised that something isn't quite right. I'm surprised it even ran. Before i even started it i removed the head, valve cover and pan to check things out and found some mice nest in cylinders! At that time i cleaned it all up put it back togeather and she fired right up and sounded real good until this valve/tappet issue which came after a few hours of run time.
