8RT engine going in an F 100 in New Zealand. Used a H E I dist, 4 barrel carb and an F 8 air cleaner to somewhat hide the the carb. Super smooth ceramic coated exhaust manifolds.

I totally get it! I call it "metal sculpture" . . . the process, the details, the problem solving, the visual results - that is what makes it all worth it to me. That is probably why I'm a damn perfectionist - all those little things matter! LOL
