Default 41 pick up temp sender

Can anyone tell me if a 41 pick up has 1 or 2 temp sending units? I recall reading once that they only had 1, but both heads are drilled-tapped for a unit. Thanks, Gordon.

The passenger side head is for a hot water heater.
