late valves in 59a correct clearance
I just installed late (49/53) valves, 1 piece guides, springs, in my 59 ab, I have researched a lot and find clearances for either 59a or 8ba. Would like your ideas on the correct clearances for this combo. Thanks Ron

Having said that I would set them at .010"/.012" intake and .012"/.014" exhaust, this should make things reasonably "comfortable"? (Add) If a new cam/lifters is in play it's extremely important to break them in with "moly" lube only, we use nothing else on the lobes and the lifter faces?? Thanks, Gary in N.Y. P.S. I sure hope you put some bronze-lined guides/stainless valves in there, especially if you plan on keeping the ride for yourself for any length of time!!
