Default Zenith float

Was cleaning my carb yesterday and noticed the hinge tube on the float has broken loose, can it be repaired? It was running fine, maybe it just happened. Do I need to get another? Thanks

A little solder - to hold will work

Try to get the bracket exactly in the same position or you will not be able to get a good gas level adjustment. Use flux and lead based solder to keep the heat down. This is an easy repair. Ed

Don’t use to much solder you’ll change the float weight and then you’ll wonder why you carburetor float valve won’t seal and keeps leaking
