Default Emergency brake question please

Do the emergency brake band springs hook in the outer hole of the small clip on the band?

Thanks in advance.

The part of the band where the links connect has a surface that rides on the emergency brake band carrier, so make sure the band is installed with the correct side facing the carrier.

Tom, I bought this truck with the relined shoes in a box. Since I didn't disassemble the brakes it's been a little more difficult assembling them. Learn as I go. The fronts are done and one rear is just about finished. I'm happy you mentioned about the mating surface on the emergency band. After work today I inspected the band and the mating surface was correct.

Is there an easy way to install the dust cap over the adjusting wedge?

What should wheel lug nuts be torqued at?

Thanks and regards.
