Look like the early Vintique ones before they made the aluminum ones. Not very attractive.I think TJ might be right about Gene Scott making those.

Looks like an early repo. Possible something made by Gene Scott who made a lot of repo stuff in the L.A. area. I'll bet if you could find someone who worked at Ford Parts Obsolete in Long Beach they could tell you who made it.

Dave, you're right . Gene Scott did have his company in Rosemead. I just can't remember the name of the company. It will probably come to me about 3:00am!

PSI was part of it. As I recall he had 3 different companies all using different names. Not sure but I think Bill McGrath of the Early Ford Store may have bought up some of Scott's stuff.

PSI was suspension components and Antique Parts Sales Corporation was rubber and some repro trim parts, etc. I remember seeing Gene's '40 Deluxe headlamp bezels in 1976, but do not recall a '32 grille bezel. The headlamp bezels were kinda crude, but his rubber stuff, cowl lacing and lots of other small stuff was pretty decent. Maybe the third company was Antique Auto, Gene had a large outdoor lot of vintage tin.

He was the first to over new rubber covers for '32 running boards. The pattern was excellent, but in the molding or formulation of the rubber compound, shrinkage was evidently not taken into consideration and as a result they had to be stretched to fit on the original steel foundations. That was nearly 50 years ago.

It was Specialty Ford Parts, 9101 E. Garvey Ave
Rosemead
CA 91770

PSI was one of several mastheads run out of the East Garvey location. DD
