Russ, Jay has been my neighbor for the last 25 or so years, A great guy I'll tell him that you got the truck done and where to check it out
Guess there are more "A"s in Santee than I thought

Thank You all of you for the kind comments. It feels really good to hear them. Its probably not quite as nice as it looks. Some panels were color sanded prior to assembly, but I got to the point where I just wanted to get it together sooner to make a promised date I set for myself. I figured I can finish the rest later. Also, the wife was getting on my nerves bugging me to get the paint booth torn down that she got tired of walking around.

Tom, the only time I'd take on the next 36yr project, would be with something that allows a bit more creativity, and less discipline.

Phil, yes, get Jay on the horn. I'd love to get more history on the truck, and maybe a photo or two of when he got it. I'm guessing he got it in one piece, and he is the one who tore the car apart. I'd like to know...

Now that is what you call gloss black! How many Krylon rattle cans did it take? Only kidding. Beautiful car.

Thanks for showing the stunning photos. I am also working on a 31 Roadster Pickup that when I purchased it I was told was restored! Not even close for me. You did a great job. Enjoy the fruits of your labor!

Wow. That's beautiful. I set myself a finish date as well but rebuilding the chassis/brakes/suspension has taken me longer than expected so I didn't meet my goal. I'm happy that you reached yours. You must feel so relieved and elated.
