Trying to find rear brake drums for my Ranchwagon. Mine are missing. I understand they are 11 x 1 3/4 5 x 4.5 lugs. I thought the F100 would fit, but the lugs on those are 5 x 5.5. Does anyone know where I might find new brake drums? MACS has many brake parts, but not the drums for the rear. This rear end set up must have been used in some other vehicle. Thanks

Check mid 60's mustang. They may fit. Also check with Napa Auto parts. They may be able to cross reference to find you the drums.

That should be the correct rear end for the wagon. Kanter has a listing for the 52-54 Wagon on page 31.

The 52 thru 54 wagons & sedan delivery Fords shared the same Dana type axle with the 52 thru 54 Mercury & Ford Police cars. The front drums only are interchangeable on these cars. The rear ones also but I think they are also interchangeable with the 55 & 56 Ford passenger cars P/N B5A-1126-B, at least that's what the Hollander manual states. A person may have to check width since that is the difference in most of the cars of that era. My Hollander Interchange doesn't mention T-birds but there may also be a cross with them in there somewhere since they used a similar axle but I can't find it.

I took several trips out to the west coast and to Florida in the back of the family '53 Ranchwagon. Would love to see some photos.

Well, looks like Kanter has what I need. Thanks Toby. The car is not a pretty sight. I bought the car for the flathead. It was in a junkyard. I was going to just take the flathead out and junk the car, but after further review decided to keep the car also. The body is straight. Needs glass and floorpans. Hopefully I can get it mechanically sound, and roadworthy, and then go from there. The best part of the car is the anniversary horn button. Thanks again for the help.
