Default 2 sp fordomatic

well decided I'm not pulling the Fordomatic out for about the 20th time to solve the L to H delay in shifting problem. Found out if I run the car in reverse with e brake on, for about 5-8 min to get it warm, it shifts like a charm

I found if I put it in first and drove mine for about two blocks it would find second and third much better for the rest of the drive. But its just a band aid fix, either your seals are worn or your clutch packs. Maybe both are . What you're doing is decreasing the clearances with heat expansion. Tim
