Default Machine Shop

Does anyone know of a reputable machine shop around middle TN that can rebuild a Model A engine? Can travel further if needed.

Brent Terry is probably your best bet. He's in Elizabethton? I believe.

I don't know if Michael Driscoll knows anyone, but he's on the western side.

Guys I appreciate recommending me however we are well over a year out with a bunch already here on the waiting list. There is a good engine builder named Dennis Plank over in the Humbolt area however I have no idea what his backlog is either. PM me if you need his contact information.

Anyone have any experience with the "new" Antique Engine Rebuilding? They're in Bluffton IN, which is a day's drive from central Tennessee.

I've been buying parts from them. They are also a year out on engine rebuilds.

What are y'all finding to be most difficult to source right now? And I'm not talking about stuff we know isn't made anymore, I mean stuff that you intuitively think should be available but isn't.

Try Schwalms in Strasburg,PA. Put your engine on a pallet and ship it to them if they are not too far out.Sometimes they have exchange engines. They are in Hershey for the show right now.

Items out of stock right now, STD. Pistons, valves, oil pump kits and I've been waiting
since Jan. for a camshaft from Stipes. (It's a little bigger than the. Burtz cam)

It changes all the time....
