Flathead Valve Guide Seals
Trying to seal my one piece guides, in particular the intakes, using the quad (square) rings that were acquired from Speedway. Very difficult to install without damaging/ripping seal. Does anyone have a resolve for this difficulty?

Re: Flathead Valve Guide Seals
A bit of lubricant and apply a modest pressure twisting installing them.
I donīt like them...using regular o-rings is less of a pain. |

Re: Flathead Valve Guide Seals
I doubt bevelling the edges would seriously reduce their effectiveness.

Anyone try warming them in hot water?
