Re: Engine teaser: Getting closer
It is a Regular. I have a new Slingshot that I was going to use, but it just looks out of place since it is so new. I need to figure out a way to “age” it.
At some point, I do plan to run a 4x2 on it. |

Re: Engine teaser: Getting closer
I believe your going to have an economy problem using your choice of intake manifolds. Especially when using the 4 deuce setup! And thinking about this Im a bit concerned about the rear axle key-ways. I can see it now hey what was that snap sound oh boy.

Glad to hear you're putting late 28 spline axles in it . . . much better setup! |

Not initially, Dale. I need to save up a bit more. Maybe next year.

Shot peen it a bit (not sand blast) . . . then throw it outside for the winter! Hell, maybe even sprinkle some salt on it at XMas . .

Re: Engine teaser: Getting closer
I was just reading about someone washing an alum part in the dishwasher using Finish Powerball dishwasher tablets. Seems it oxidized the alum surface a gray color. They were able to clean it off with vinegar as they didnt want that look (they just wanted to clean the part). Maybe try it on a small part to see what happens.

Actually my wife would be impressed that I put anything in the dishwasher.
