I agree with "Detonator" on Rhode Island Wiring! I have them on my'34 pickup and '37 Dump truck for more than 10 years and they are really nice and are very original looking. No problems at all.

I wouldn't buy a paper clip from Tyree Harris. His stuff isn't made right and does not fit as it should. Worse yet, he is unwilling to admit that he is wrong. Just typical for a guy who hasn't been within a thousand miles of an original Ford engineering drawing and yet has all the answers.

Rhode Island Wire= Excellent products) Excellent people. Ten years back +- I spoke to a woman there; I wish that I could recall her name. I wanted a wiring harness for a '36 pickup w/two tail lights. She replied that a sedan delivery harness is what I need, as she viewed specifications, and said this is the cost; it'll be in the mail. Yes, that was the cost, and it, 100% original, arrived in the mail. I was thrilled, and posted a comment on this QUALITY COMPANY. WOW!

Wow!, when I see this type of response I always appreciate it and then do my own investigation. It gives me something to search that might help me avoid troubles in the future. So, I asked google and found positive reviews of this vendor from Current Fordbarn members. I did notice the feedback is aged(2014) so that just adds to the question, what exactly is the problem? Please provide some specifics if this dealer is not to be used.
thank you

Having used Tyree's products to entirely wire my hot rod AV8 roadster, I don't share David's thoughts, but I do respect his opinion.

I've purchased wiring from Tyree and had no issues. I know others may have different experiences. I was very specific on what I wanted and Tyree delivered. I also had him make wires to my specifications based on the Ford engineering drawings I had. These came out great, but I supplied all of the dimensional and wire covering color, so DavidG may have a point. Many folks in my RFV8 Regional Group have had good experiences with Tyree as well, so as always, be prepared and know what you want and how to make sure you get what you want. At least today we have some options for suppliers but the knowledge base of the suppliers and number of them both seem in jeopardy these days.
