slack safety
Just a reminder no to get slack on the safety,
Yesterday I was getting ready to paint my workshop floor with two pack paint, get the tins opened .put my respirator on ,put safety glasses in top pocket tipped paint in , got the drill out with the mixer on,put it in the paint ,turned it on and got a splash of paint in my eye. Spent 4 hrs in the emergency dept of the hospital. Lucky, just a chemical burn on my outer eye,not the seeing part .Phew. Shed is painted and have one red eye. Lawrie |

Re: slack safety
Good reminder. A guy I worked with on computers was doing some home maintenance work. While grinding took some metal bits to the eye. Did a cornea replacement and weeks on his back. Think, think, do. Be safe.
Glad you are! |
