'87 Ford 250
I hope this isn't to new of a vehicl; if so let me know and I will respectfully seek advice elsewhere. So here it goes.....
My '87 250 has two issues. The first is that the gas gauge, for both tank readings, is goofy. Usually is shows more than there is but luckily I can switch to the second so no real harm done but I want to fix the problem. The other issue is that the anti-lock brake light comes on and may stay on or go off without rhyme or reason. The emergency brake light comes on as we'll usually. Checked the fluid and electrical connections but no change. Happens more during the warmer months. Sometimes I have to turn off the engine and re-start to have the lights disappear. Any ideas guys? |

This would be a much better place to post your question: http://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/forum28/
There's a good chance someone else has had your same issues. You might even be able to search their site for answers.

As far as the tank issue, I would say a bad gauge. Since it follows both tanks, the sending units aren't the issue.
