Default Hub Spindle, Bearing question

Help! Will the front hubs from 1948-1952 F-1 fit on 1948 passenger car spindles? If so, which bearings would be required? I am intending to use all F-1 brake assembly and backing plates for 1948 spindles if possible. Thanks, Bill G.

Think you need the bearings listed and you need to modify the inside bearing. You will need brake drums, they sell reproduction (a little pricy for my taste, but nice!) Or you can use 70 era rear drums (around $30 ea). The brake shoes are 2 inch and the later F100 drums 3 inch. They work fine but if the missmatch bothers you, be aware of it. If you want the part numbers let me know I made up a detailed list last night for all the parts involved
