46 fuel pump
I know this question has been up here before, but I just installed an electric fuel pump on my 46, I have it wired to a momentary toggle switch so I can use it as a prime pump or to overcome occasional vapor lock in the Florida heat. My car runs very lean thru the pump, much better with it running in conjunction with the mechanical pump. If I eliminate the mechanical pump, and remove the push rod, will I have an oil pressure problem? I took a 59a block apart a few years back and there was a ground down bolt pushed down into the push rod hole, I always wondered about why it was there, did some old timer know something, that we don't? Thanks Rich
