Re: lost posts
A moderator who controls the site has the ability.
I'm referring to a thread started by a brand new forum member who was asking opinions about the value of a grill they were actively vending.

Re: lost posts
I noticed a missing thread, a few days ago, that must have been a anomaly. It was the one about the Model 51 truck, "hiding in plan sight".
I looked through several pages of posts, two days in a row. Because I had posted in it, I finally found it by checking my post, on my profile. After fining it that way, and knowing the date, I went back to find it in the regular forum posts but, it still wasn't there. It came back to be veiwable in the next day or so. Over the years, I've had that happen in other forums, that's why I knew to used my profile, in that way, to find it.

Whizzernick There was one with the component of what you are speaking of that "disappeared" and is was on the 34 grill a "Newby" had on Ebay for $20,000 and then reduced it graciously to $10,000. That thread also goT into the specifics of the "correct" plating on a 34 grill!!!! The kid kinda got "sporty" and a little mean SO I think Ryan "86'ed" it!!! |

Re: lost posts
I’ve posted several times and after a while the post was taken down.

Re: lost posts
The two sets of rules always at the top of the list make it clear what goes and what stays. I think that they are pretty clear, so "Ryan has let people know what's going on".

Re: lost posts
It makes no sense to argue with people who don't (or won't) understand the rules. It's better just to move on.

Re: lost posts
The person selling that grill was asking in a facebook group and said he did ot have it in his possession yet. He said he had to pick it up and I told him the address might be ib the mddle of the woods. He assured me that he had done business with the person before. He's the type I would hesitate to do business with.
As far as posts I often find it confusing how they are organized. I usually check in once a day and scan until I see one that I have read the day before. Then two days later one shows up that I completely missed. Possible I read past it but it's happened too many times.
