Re: 6volt fuel pump
I am very pleased with the Airtex E-8902 I installed on my '41. Four years and no problems. Mine is activated by a switch under the dash and is used as needed.
They are available from Advance,NAPA,OReilly and others. About $45.00. |

Re: 6volt fuel pump
The Airtex has boiled to the top in most of the previous threads on this subject. The July/August V-8 Times has an article written by Randy Rundle describing a gear type pump (available 6 or 12 volt), with stainless steel gears similar to a positive displacement oil pump, that he sells through his Fifth Avenue Auto Parts store. He claims no need for regulator when using 6 volt pump (2-5# output). Worth checking out. Has anyone tried one of these pumps?
