What engine is better?

I don't know what engine to pick. A 289 4v or a 351w? I heard it doesnt cost much to upate the 289 to a hipo. But would the 351w be faster if you put the same amount of money into it as you would the 289? Thank you



P.S. when im asking which one is better, im meaning it as going really fast and drag racing

he 351 will make more horsepower and torque than a 289. The more cubic inches the more power. If you are going to use this engine on the street go for torque over high rpm horse power.
