Default 94 T-bird question

Hello,

I have a friend that has a 1994 Thunderbird Super Coupe and the stock engine is dying. He was thinking about putting a 302 in there. Since I grew up with Chevys, I honestly don't know what Ford blocks match what engine mounts/cars, etc. I need to know if 1) Is this a possible swap? 2) If so, will it require fabrication and stuff like that, or is it possible I can buy certain engine mounts for the car and drop in the 302?? Any help would be greatly appreciated because this swap needs to happen soon if possible. Please email me at [email protected] if need be.

Thanks much!

Mat G.

The 94 bird was available with the 302. just find a V8 bird and get the frame and engine mounts. You may want to get the whole deal. because you will need to change all the electrics(computer, sensors, wiring harness etc.) It will be a costly undertaking unless you have a doner car.
